Lutein knowledge

A member of the carotenoid family (natural fat-soluble pigment found in a group of plants), also known as "plant progesterone," co-exists with zeaxanthin in nature. Lutein is the main component of the retinal pigment and it is an "element" indispensable to the eye. It is also an important natural antioxidant.
